Example - Sharing facilities between offices
The SoftRouter can be employed by large organisations to allow for the interconnection of different TCP/IP networks, Wide Area Networks (WANS) and remote dial-in users.
This example shows how two copies of the SoftRouter are used to interconnect a head office with a branch office via a leased line and to provide remote dial-in users with access to email facilities, Web servers and other Intranet facilities. An Internet connection is also available to provide Internet Access.
