Investment Protection
By producing scalable software, Vicomsoft offers our customers
the ability to purchase the software they need, and have that software
grow with them as their needs change. These changes can be adding additional
users to their existing software, as in our InterGate packages.
When we refer to the number of users, this is the number
of users/machines in total on your network and NOT the
number of simultaneous users.
We also allow businesses flexibility as regards Operating
System platforms. For example we have a flexi-license that allows users
of Mac OS X and Windows 98, 2000, XP and 2003 to 'mix-and-match'
against pre- agreed volumes.
Technical Support
At Vicomsoft, technical support is considered good customer
service. Thus, we offer free technical support for all our customers
while they are evaluating the software.
For Vicomsoft InterGate, a support and maintenance contract
is available to purchase for continued support.
For Vicomsoft DHCP Server, RapidCache, FTP Client and MultiTerm,
as long as the software is kept within one major revision of the latest
release, we offer free technical support.
Technical Support is available via email for all our products
by completing our online support form. Emails are usually answered within
24 hours. FTP Client is ONLY supported via email and no telephone
support is available for this product.
Please note we offer technical support for those evaluating
our products as well as for customers.

Vicomsoft strongly believes customers should be able to
try software before they purchase it. To this end, we make evaluation
versions of all Vicomsoft software available for download from this web
site.
We highly recommend that prospective customers try before
they buy. Our evaluation software is designed to let users experience
configuring the software, try its features and functions and ensure that
it is appropriate for their particular configuration and/or requirements.
To assist, we even allow users of evaluation trial software to contact
us for free technical support (see above)! If you consider that our evaluation
versions are too limited to enable you to properly test the software
in your environment, please contact us and we will see what we can do
to assist.
RMAs are offered in the following scenarios only:
- In the event that the software does not perform as a Vicomsoft employee
said it would.
- In the event that the software does not work at all, and after
a reasonable period of time (normally one week) Vicomsoft Technical
Support could not resolve the issue.
Given that we provide evaluation copies, we do NOT offer
a general 30-day Sale-or-Return option.
